Appreciation  of  Hamlet

    Hamlet is a good figure that I quite appreciate . He is a humanist ,a man who is from medieval prejudices and superstitions. He has an unbounded love for the love rather than for heaven . Though he is deprived of his right to the  throne, he is still loved and respected by everyone.

    Like other humanists , he cherishes a profound revernce for man ,and a firm belief in man's power over destiny . Such a delight in nature and man is characteristic of humanists of the Renaissance.He loves good and hates evil .He adores his father ,loves Ophelia and greats his schoolfellows . In his contact with the people around him ,he cares for nothing but human worth and shows a contempt for rank and wealth .He treats everyone equally. His democratic tendency is based on his humanist thought.

    He is an outstanding and a close observer of men and manners .He easily sees throgh people . His uick perception enables him to penetrate below the surface of things and questions what others take for granted .Another sparkling point ,Ithink ,is his mother'love him .Maternal love is great .Although his mother becomes his uncle'wife .She is still trying to protect him from being poisoned by hamlet'uncle , when hamlet is fighting against with Ophelia's brother for a certain purpose .

    From all the above we may know that Hamlet is not a mere scholar .On the contrary ,he is a man of genius, highly accomplished and educated .His image reflects the human spirit of the Renaissance .
